The Manotick Art Association is thrilled to announce that its annual spring show and sale, “Inspirations”, will be back again April 24-26. The show will feature the works of 44 area artists, featuring landscapes, abstracts, florals and wildlife painted in oils, watercolours, acrylics, pastel, batik, mixed media and photography. Many of the artists will be familiar to long-time patrons of Inspirations, but we are excited to welcome many new and exciting artists to the line-up this year. Entry is free and there is plenty of parking, as well as an accessible entrance.

theHumm is a free, monthly, independent newspaper covering arts, entertainment and ideas in the small towns and communities of the Ottawa Valley. Circulation ranges from 8,500 to 9,500 copies, depending on the season. It is printed by the good folks at Winchester Print.

theHumm has been designed, edited and published by Kris and Rob Riendeau since 1998, and its contributors and columnists come from throughout the Valley. 

Arts Carleton Place is pleased to present the Spring Fine Art Exhibition. This annual juried exhibition celebrates regional artistic excellence and provides the public with an engaging opportunity to experience high-quality fine art in a welcoming and accessible setting. Admission and parking are free, and visitors will enjoy door prizes throughout the event.
