Hi, I’m Laurel Onfrichuk

I’m Laurel of laureldawnart, a watercolour artist from Carleton Place, Ontario. In my youth I painted in oils, then later took up photography while raising a family and working in healthcare.

In 2019 I began studying at the Ottawa School of Art, then switched to online classes for flexibility and due to the pandemic. I’ve continued learning with online mentors, shown watercolours in juried shows locally, nationally, and internationally, and sell originals and prints across North America. My work covers bright florals to treasured keepsakes, all reflecting my deep love of the medium.

When I’m not painting I play golf, tend my garden, and spend time with family and friends over a glass of wine.

My Approach

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.

Simple ideas

Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.

Lasting impact

We build with clarity, act with integrity, and always stay curious.
